Bryce Massanari, selected by the Philadelphia Phillies out of high school, has built an impressive career both as a player and coach. At the College of Southern Nevada (CSN), he was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection and Conference Player of the Year. He continued his success at the University of Georgia, earning All-SEC honors in 2008 and 2009, and was named a 2009 Preseason All-American. That same year, he led all catchers in the country with 19 home runs. Bryce was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2009 and went on to be named a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) and Rockies Organizational All-Star in 2011. As a coach, Bryce has established himself as one of the premier developers of talent in the country. Over the past six years as a head coach, all six of his teams have been nationally ranked inside the Top 50, with three finishing inside the Top 25. Most recently, his team finished 2nd in the nation, highlighting the standard of excellence and consistency within his program. Notably, all of this success has been accomplished with local players from Las Vegas, further emphasizing his ability to develop homegrown talent at a national level. Beyond the field, Bryce is deeply committed to mentoring athletes as young men, teaching discipline, accountability, and standards that extend far beyond baseball. His goal is to help players build habits, character, and a mindset that will serve them for the rest of their lives. He also leads with a strong commitment to his faith, which plays a central role in how he coaches, mentors, and develops the young men in his program. Bryce is known for his commitment to player development, high standards, and preparing athletes to compete at the highest levels of the game while becoming better people in the process.

Player Development Coach / Infield & DefenseLuke Toms is the Co-Founder and Director of Player Development at MTBA where he leads the design and implementation of the academy's defensive development systems.
A former collegiate standout, Toms was a four-year starter between Motlow State Community College and Lee University. He holds the BBCOR-era single-season records at Motlow State for doubles (21) and hits (83). During his career, he earned 1st Team All-Conference honors as a shortstop at both institutions.
In 2016, he led the nation in home runs as a shortstop (15).
At MTBA, Toms oversees the full scope of defensive player development, specializing in infield play. His approach is rooted in "Big League Principles," emphasizing game-transferable skill development, decision-making, and efficiency under game speed.
He designs individualized development plans that integrate drill work, movement patterns, video analysis, and situational training to ensure athletes can perform in real game environments. He is known for his elite knowledge that has helped 100+ NCAA and professional infielders.

Strength & Conditioning/Speed & AgilityWith over 30 years of experience as an athlete and coach, Coach Patterson is a former Division 1 athlete, having played football for Northern Arizona University (2003 HOF team). He served as the DB Coach for Centennial HS Football from 2010-2017 and has been the Head Sprint Coach for Centennial HS Track and Field Since 2011.
From 2019 to 2022, he was an Academic Coach and Performance Trainer at Game Changers Sports Academy. He has worked with athletes from the NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, and professional boxing. As a 15-time Nevada Track and Field State Championship Coach for both boys and girls. Coach Patterson is also the Head Sprint/Strength Coach for the Nevada Track Club. He has coached dozens of Track and Field State Champions, including multiple All-Americans.

Outfield & Hitting CoachCoach Kenny started at Florida International University (FIU) as a player and later a student assistant coach under Mervyl Melendez. After FIU, he coached at the southern Nevada Baseball Club, emphasizing skill development and discipline. Kenny founded the Inspire Baseball Academy (IBA) in Las Vegas, respected for its focus on player development and character-building. He also revitalized the baseball program as an assistant coach at Arbor View High School.
Before Coaching, Kenny played professional baseball for two years.

Director of OperationsJennifer Massanari is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in business administration and management. She has an extensive background in the commercial insurance sector, having worked for some of the largest companies in the industry, including the second-largest brokerage in the nation. Currently, she serves as the Director of Operations at MTBA, where her leadership and organizational skills are pivotal in driving the academy’s mission forward.
Baseball is more than just a hobby for Jennifer; it is a passion and a way of life that she shares with her family. Her commitment to the sport and to her professional endeavors reflects her dedication to excellence in all areas of her life.
